Room Bookings

Organizing and event space in the Lower Mainland can be hard to come by – it’s expensive, or it’s inaccessible, or it’s just not available. As part of our mission to engage students and community in social and environmental justice, we’re committed to assisting students and community with securing space for their meetings and events.

SFPIRG Lounge & Meeting Room

SFPIRG’s lounge and meeting rooms are currently not available for booking as we unpack from our move into the SUB!

A lounge is available within the SFPIRG space that contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, couches, and children’s toys (children’s books can also be found in the library), and is a great space for small events, film screenings, discussions, meetings, etc. All members are welcome to use this space. Members are expected to clean up after themselves.

SFPIRG’s meeting room holds up to 10 people and is a good space for small meetings. This space is available for all SFU groups engaged in social and environmental justice work.

How to book the lounge and meeting room:

To place a booking, please speak to a member of staff at SFPIRG or email us at We will help coordinate bookings with you, and can answer any questions you might have.
