Radical Reads

Six times per year, the SFPIRG Rotunda Library hosts a reading and discussion group open to students and SFU community members. These readings range from novels to abolition classics to zines – and more! By reading and engaging in discussion on important topics, we hope to build not just a sharper understanding of social justice topics, but also community.

Each month we have a radical reads, we try to connect students with copies of the selection through our own Library, other members of the Rotunda Group Libraries, or local public libraries to ensure access to the book. We also try to frame the discussion in a way that participants do not have to finish the book or by providing alternate resources to topics in the book such as podcasts or interview with the authors.
