Our materials are organized to make them easy to browse and our library database is available for specific searches.
Signing out material
Students and community members are welcome to sign out materials.In order to sign out books, you will need to fill out an SFPIRG Library User Form. This will allow you to be entered into our library database and means that for subsequent library use, you will just need your student number to be able to sign out books. If you are not a student, an alternative number will be assigned to you.
How many?
At any one time, you can sign out a maximum of 10 books/reports/magazines and 5 videos/DVDs.
For How Long? Books and videos can be signed out for two weeks. Additional items cannot be checked out if a borrower possesses items more than 2 weeks overdue.
Renewals:
Books and videos may be renewed twice, as long as they have not been requested by another library user.To renew materials drop by, call us (778-782-4360) or e-mail library(at)sfpirg(dot)ca
Access to the Women's Centre Library
If you are looking for resources on broad range of subjects related to Gender & Women Studies, the Women's Centre library is a great resource (TC 3013, SFU Burnaby). The Women's Centre is a self-identified women's space. Male-identified folks can access the Women's Centre library through SFPIRG.
