What is the central research question you want answered?
What are the objectives of your project?
Tri Cities East Neighbourhood Centre (TCENC) has been in operation for one year.
What has been the impact of TCENC upon the community and upon the collaborative service delivery system? Where do we go from here?
* assess the effectiveness of TCENC: family perspective.
* assess the effectiveness of TCENC: community resources perspective.
* identify service delivery gaps in the community and possible means to address these issues.
* develop measurable outcomes that TCENC can use to monitor and evaluate itself.

* Design and implement surveys to assess the effectiveness of TCENC: families, community partners / resources.
* Write a report that reflects the data gathered
How do you plan to use the results of this project?
* The results of the project will be used to further improve the service delivery system of TCENC.
* The results / learnings will be shared with other community resources, with the Early Childhood Development and Middle Childhood Matters Committees.
What larger goal is served by undertaking this project?
* Tri Cities is in the process of developing Community Hubs so as to meet the needs of families withing their local neighbourhoods. This project would provide us with a framework for developing and adapting evaluation/assessment tools that could be used community wide.

What is your organization/group's goal or mandate?
* Westcoast Family Resources Society (WFRS) is a registered, non-profit society. WFRS has be providing family support programming in Tri Cities since 1987. WFRS is the 'Lead' agency in TCENC.
* Seven community resource are co-located at Tri Cities East Neighbourhood Centre, while we have protocol agreements with another eight community resources. Our goal is to develop an effective collaborative service delivery system that will provide families with an array of interdependent services that will meet their needs.
