Project will consist of a rebranding exercise together with logo development. Project will also consist of a wide variety of promotional brochures in several languages. Brochures, posters, letterhed and newsletters are also a component of the project.
Project Description (Use this space to further elaborate on the project)
Student would be required to faciliate a rebranding exercise resulting in a new society logo. The student would also be required to research and analyze our current use of promotional and fundraising materials (in the form of pamphlets, brochures, banners, which would be made available to him/her.
The Student will then design a unified template that all staff will be able to agree upon for the variety of promotional materials. The Student will then place existing or redefined materials into the new templates, which will be saved and passed on to TCWRS and staff for future use.
How do you plan to use the results of this project?
1. The logo and informational material will be used to redevelop the Society's website
2. The informational brochures will be used immediately to reach out to the diverse multicultural community in the tri-cities.
3. The information brochures will be used immediately to build referrals for the Society.
4. The informational brochures will be used for walk by traffic, current clients, members and the community as promotional and cross promotional materials.
5.. The informational brochures will be used a fairs, conferences, workshops throughout the community
6. The informational brochures will be used to enhance the Society's display board.
What larger goal is served by undertaking this project?
The larger goal is have the informational material clearly define our regenerated and enhanced services to the community and clients.
To increase TCWRS profile in the community and increase the awareness of what services and programs we offer.
To have a consistent brand that TCWRS becomes known by.
Our challenge is to continue to work with the tri-city community to develop innovative programs and services that meet the changing needs of a diverse population.
To strive for an empowered society that embraces equality, diversity and the elimination of violence.

TCWRS provides services mainly to women and children in the Tri-cities (Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Anmore and Belcarra), however the society does have some support programs for men.

TCWRS is a feminist organization that strives for the elimination of violence through education, prevention and partnership, providing a continuum of sustainable services that respond to the changing needs of the community.

Phase 1 will be the rebranding and logo development.
Phase 2 will deal with the informational brochures and materials.

Liaison will orient student to the organization and link student to key Board member and staff that can assist in project development. The liaison will also supervise and work in collaboration with the student.
