It has become crucial that Arts based organizations become more creative in finding revenue sources since the recent cuts to Arts funding.
We would like to have a student: 1)research and identify arts, seniors, capital, community development and other grants suitable to our organization; 2)create a funding info sheet for deadlines and criteria and 3)complete a couple of grants.
This will include research into new funding opportunities but also some opportunities have been identified.
How do you plan to use the results of this project?
To apply for funding, to keep an organized track record of past and future grants, and to ensure the continued growth of the Oceanside Community Arts Council.
What larger goal is served by undertaking this project?
Securing funds for the continued growth and expansion of all Arts Councils in British Columbia.
To ensure that the Arts can thrive by seeking out alternative funding sources.
